CORPUS CHRISTI - Wet streets and speed are to blame for a two crashes involving pickups on Interstate 37 this afternoon.
In one crash police say a Toyota Tundra was entering the interstate from Leopard at Callicoate when the 18-year-old driver lost control and crashed into the concrete barrier. The young man was not injured thanks to his seat belt. He could be ticketed for the crash.
The second crash involved a Ford truck near Interstate 37 and the Highway 77 flyover. The driver lost control and rolled over into the median. She was able to climb out of the truck and was seen walking around talking with authorities about how to get the truck towed.
