CORPUS CHRISTI- We had another beautiful day in South Texas with a cool start then it was sunny and dry and hot this afternoon. There is a warming trend in our forecast ahead of our next weekend cold front. Here are the details.
Surface high pressure will move rapidly off to the east resulting in increasing wind humidity and temperatures (especially the lows) thru mid-week. As a cold front approaches this weekend the winds will subside Friday and Saturday making for nice but hot weather. Little to no rainfall is expected with frontal passage late Saturday night but lots of clouds will result in cooler temperatures once again beginning on Sunday.
Tonight will be breezy and much warmer with a low of 74.
Thursday will be mostly sunny but rather windy hot and very humid again with a high of 93.
Less wind can be expected on Friday but temperatures stay hot.
