Gulf moisture will return to the coastal bend today with warm and humid conditions expected for the next 7 days. As the moisture piles up a few afternoon showers as possible on Saturday but they are expected to be light. Partly cloudy and warm conditions will be with us for most of next week with strong and gusty south east winds. This is in response to a big winter storm in the plains. If it will make it into South Texas remains to be seen.
A River Flood Warning continues in effect for the Nueces River in the Bluntzer area for next week. Flood water being released from Lake Corpus Christi will cause a rise in the water levels and they are expected to crest at flood stage on Monday.
