CORPUS CHRISTI - We had some clouds roll over the Coastal Bend this afternoon and temperatures have still warmed into the middle to upper 70s with winds all staying below 20mph. Clouds will continue to stream overhead and lead to mostly cloudy conditions as an upper level system pushes in from the west and ushers in warmer air from the south.
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies with humid and mild conditions. Fog will be developing again and some may become dense and make driving difficult early Monday morning. Temperatures will only fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s with winds out of the southeast around 5-10mph.
Temperatures will warm up even more on Monday despite the ample cloud cover as winds turn more southerly and increase temperatures a few degrees from previous days into the lower 80s.
A very weak front will ease into South Texas early Tuesday morning and shave a few degrees off afternoon highs for the middle of next week. As the upper level system moves overhead by Wednesday, there will be a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms with overcast to mostly cloudy conditions. At this point, rainfall amounts look to remain low and will not be the big washout that we really need for the area.
Have a great week!
