CORPUS CHRISTI - It was a very warm spring day over South Texas as afternoon highs have all gone into the lower to mid-80s with the exception of a few 70s along the coastline.
Tonight, more clouds will move back over the region with temperatures only dropping into the mid to upper 60s and low 70s. Winds will stay a little brisk out of the southeast around 10-15mph.
Tuesday will be another warm day with clouds more prominent than sunshine as a cold front moves closer to the area. Highs will still range in the lower to mid-80s with winds picking up around 15-25 with some gusts approaching 30.
Early Wednesday morning the front will move in with cooler temperatures and a strong wind shift to the north. Accompanying the front will be some showers and a few thunderstorms. Overcast conditions will linger over the area for a few days even after the front passes by as a few upper level disturbances help with small shower opportunities. Rainfall amounts at this point should average around half an inch with some spots receiving a little more or less. We'll keep tracking it.
Have a great evening!
