CORPUS CHRISTI - A wanted gang member is behind bars tonight after leading police on a chase clear across town.
Police first tried to pull the car over when they saw someone throw something out of the car at Weber and Holly. But the driver didn't stop, instead he led police all the way down SPID until they decided to back off due to heavy traffic.
The suspect's car was later spotted in the North Beach area and the man was arrested without injury. Police say they believe there were other people in the car with him but they have not found them yet. Police tell us the man was wanted on several felony warrants and a federal warrant.
