CORPUS CHRISTI - A man who walked into Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital Tuesday morning told police he'd been grazed by bullets while fighting off two robbers the night before.
The unidentified 32-year-old had wounds to his hand, hip, head and abdomen when he showed up. According to police, he claims two men attacked him in the 400 block of South Brownlee as he was walking to his girlfriend's house.
The victim said a suspect's gun fired as he struggled against his attackers. The men ended up getting the guy's money, but he claims he ran the girlfriend's house and never called 911.
The suspects are described as Hispanic males, 20-25 years old, 5'5" - 5'8" tall, wearing black shirts, blue jeans and bandanas over their faces.
