Still waiting for the stronger storms to develop over South Texas. With less wind and heating in western areas, we should see more widespread thundershowers across the region. Expecting rainfall totals of at least one inch. Mostly cloudy with drizzle early. High 84. Storms should fire this afternoon out west and drift into the coastal bend. Saturday will see a few lingering showers but general clearing. High 87. Sunday will be sunny, warm and steamy. High near 90. Next week a late season cool front is expected to make it to coast. Thundershowers are expected with the frontal passage on Tuesday.
