Victim Chases After Home Invasion Suspects, Crashes Car

CORPUS CHRISTI - A minor car crash on Stafford St. turned out to be the end result of a home invasion on the 1900 block of Horne Rd. tonight. The victim, who lives on Horne, told police two Hispanic males, 18-20 years of age, came to his door asking for a specific female.
When the victim told the suspects he didn't know the person, the suspects apparently left. They returned, however, 30 minutes later with an additional Hispanic male. The victim told police the three suspects asked again for the same female before forcing their way into his home.
Police said after the suspects held the victim at gunpoint and stole several items, they apparently took off on foot. The victim got into his vehicle to chase after the suspects. At the corner of Yale St. and Stafford St. the victim ended up hitting one of the suspects and slamming into a parked car.
All three suspects are still at large. Police believe they are Hispanic males 18-20 years of age. As for the victim, police say he may faces charges for driving without insurance and a license.
