CORPUS CHRISTI - After breaking record high temperatures yesterday afternoon, we will see another very warm day in the Coastal Bend with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Expect a fair mix of clouds and sun throughout the day as the winds will be on the breezy side around 15-25mph and gusting around 30. Temperatures along the coast should stay in the lower to mid-80s, while inland areas could easily see up to the mid-90s. Areas to our south and west will even push the mid-90s this afternoon.
Tonight will be another mild night with temperatures only falling into the lower 70s with mild and humid conditions. Winds will stay out of the southeast around 10-15mph.
The warm conditions will continue all the way through Thursday when a front arrives in South Texas that will bring a few isolated showers and thunderstorms, though at this time, it looks like most of the activity will remain to our north and east again as another rainfall opportunity seems to slip our grasp. Once the front swings by, winds will be windy and gusting near 40, cooler temperatures will filter in and overnight lows will fall into the 50s with highs in the 70s as sunny skies take over.
Have a great day and stay cool!
