Very Hot Weather Ahead

CORPUS CHRISTI- We continued to dry out across South Texas on Tuesday with only a few stray showers and hotter highs. A weak and small pocket of moisture in the western Gulf will move ashore overnight and Wednesday and produce a few stray showers around sweltering temperatures. Then it will be bone dry and blazing hot thru Sunday. Chantal continues to be no threat to interests in the Gulf of Mexico while headed toward the Central Bahamas and the southeast Atlantic coast of the U.S.

Tonight expect fair skies with a warm stuffy low of 77 and light winds after midnight.

Wednesday we will have a stray shower otherwise variable sunshine baking hot and dry with a late afternoon sea breeze and a high of 98.

Thursday will be mostly sunny a gentle breeze and blistering hot with a high once again of 98.

Stay Cool.
