CORPUS CHRISTI - A group of folks known as the 'Valero Volunteers' gave their time today to help those in need this Thanksgiving holiday. Volunteers prepared baskets from the goods collected during a food drive at the refinery.
The baskets will be distributed to area churches and some schools in the community. The more than 3,000 pounds of food items and gift cards will be given to families so they can purchase turkeys and anything else they need for the holiday.
