CORPUS CHRISTI- A weak upper level disturbance will pass us by to the north resulting in damp conditions but very little rain then drying for the latter part of the weekend. This will result in some sunshine and warmer temperatures before it clouds up and moistens up rapidly ahead of the next stronger system that will bring more substantial rain Tuesday of next week. Here is the detailed forecast.

Today expect areas of light rain or drizzle this morning ending by this afternoon less wind and still cloudy and chilly with a high of only 54.

Tonight will be mainly cloudy and a little colder with a low of 42 and wind chills in the upper 30's.

Sunday will be better and the best day of the weekend with light winds and some sunshine (mainly in the afternoon and more north and west of the city) and it will be warmer with a high of 66.

Expect at least scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday with highs in the upper 70's.
