CORPUS CHRISTI -- Officers were called out to Sunrise Mall around 11 this morning after mall security guards found the body of a man inside a mall bathroom.
An ambulance rushed to the scene where the victim was pronounced dead.
When officers arrived earlier, they asked witnesses if they had noticed anything suspicious.
Witnesses gave officers a description of the suspect, which led police straight to a 39 year old man at Staples near J.C. Penny.
Officers say the suspect had blood on his clothes and was carrying a knife.
Police tell us the man was stabbed several times on his upper body.
We're told, the victim may have tried to defend himself during the attack.
Police also say the suspect could be charged with capital murder because they believe he robbed the victim as well.
