UPDATE: Large Water Main Break

CORPUS CHRISTI -- According to police scanner reports, SPID eastbound at Carroll Lane is shut down because of a water main break.

Police are on the scene of what they're calling a "major water main break" with water spilling out onto the streets in the 3800 block of SPID.

The break occurred about an hour ago.

According to initial reports, there's also a smaller water main break near the Corpus Christi Subaru Dealership.

We have a crew on the scene and will bring you more information when we get it.
