CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police arrested two men this afternoon around the same time, following two separate chases for two completely different reasons.
Police pulled over a car during a traffic stop and say the passenger got out, threw some marijuana and took off running towards the HEB at Kostoryz and Gollihar.
Officers caught up with the 19-year old man at the back of the store.
They say he tried to act like he was shopping...but he didn't fool cops.
Another man -- walking in the HEB parking lot -- saw the commotion and also took off running.
Ironically, he had a similiar description to the first suspect.
Lt. David Kureska said, "He had a dear in the headlights look and he took off running. So now we're looking for two different people. One at HEB and one who ran back on Cottage jumping fences, they got that guy in custody too."
Police say the 27-year old was running because he had an outstanding warrant for violating his probation.
Now, he also faces evading arrest charges.
