CORPUS CHRISTI- It was yet another unseasonably warm December day in South Texas as temperatures topped out in the upper 80's. It will be a warm weekend ahead of the strongest cold front of the season Sunday night. Here are the details.

Warm moist air will continue ahead of a major cold front (the strongest of the season) that will arrive very late Sunday night and early Monday morning. Scattered showers and thundershowers will accompany the front but the main feature will be the coldest temperatures of the season lasting into the middle of next week. Temperatures drop into the upper 30's here next week.

Tonight will be breezy muggy and unseasonably mild with patchy fog and a low of 66.

Saturday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine very warm and humid with a record high of 86.

Sunday will also be warm breezy and humid with highs in the 80's ahead of a strong cold front after midnight Sunday night.
