NEW YORK - Passengers aboard an Icelandic Air Flight subdued an unruly passenger with duct tape after he allegedly caused a commotion aboard a flight to New York.
The 46-year-old man allegedly threatened choke a female passenger sitting next to him and screamed the plane was going to crash.
Witnesses say the passenger became unruly after he allegedly had too much alcohol to drink. Upon arrival at JFK Airport, the passenger was taken in to custody by police and later released after a visit to a local hospital.
Officials say prosecutors declined to charge the man because passengers were reluctant to talk about the incident with authorities.
