CORPUS CHRISTI - The U.S.S. Lexington held a veterans day celebration today. The veterans band played at the ceremony while the Moody High School NJROTC presented the colors. Tomorrow the Lex will give veterans and active duty members of the United States military free admission to the museum in recognition of their sacrifice.
The Lexington Museum Executive Director, Rocco Monetsano said, "Certainly for the Lexington; we're always here to honor veterans and people's service," he said. "But a special day like veterans day, it's nice to see so many veterans in the audience from all of our wars."
