U.S. Postal Service Preparing to Kick Off Holiday Rush

WASHINGTON D.C. - At a news conference this morning, the U.S. Postal Service will kick off the holiday rush and remind you to mail early.

This year they expect to deliver 17.9 billion cards, letters and packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas. December 17th will be the busiest mailing day of 2012 with more than 650-million pieces of mail processed.

Here's an interesting tip- using no zip code is better than using a wrong zip code.
