CORPUS CHRISTI - As we reported yesterday, the Corpus Christi Police Department's Gang Unit tracked down a known gang member to Corpus Christi Beach after his involvement in a chase from one side of town to another. Now, the department has given more background on why they were trying to pull over 25-year-old Russell Longoria in the first place.

Police say Longoria and three others planned and assaulted a 21-year-old Corpus Christi man on November 29th following a work-related incident that resulted in two men being fired because one man's wife showed up at the workplace and caused a disturbance.

Officials have not said what started all of the trouble, what workplace is involved, the nature of the assault, or where it occurred.

The first suspect in the assault, 22-year-old Rhonda Longoria, was arrested during a traffic stop. She's charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

Yesterday, Russell Longoria was involved in a chase that started on the southside of town. Police called off the pursuit due to safety concerns, but were able to locate him in the Corpus Christi Beach area. He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, engaging in organized criminal activity and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Now, police need your help finding the other two suspects in the assault case. Richard Longoria, 20, is wanted for engaging in organized criminal activity. Geronimo Sanchez, 32, is wanted for engaging in organized criminal activity and for violating the conditions of his bond for a prior charge of unlawful possesion of a firearm by a felon.

If you can help police track down these two wanted men, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS,or submit a tip online at www.888tips.com.
