Two Killed in Highway 72 Crash

CORPUS CHRISTI - Two drivers are dead after the crash of three 18-wheelers on Highway 72 between Three Rivers and Tilden.

Authorities say the driver of a gravel truck heading towards Three Rivers hit a truck coming in the opposite direction. The third truck came upon the crash and hit another truck head on.

Only one of the drivers survived. We're told he's in critical condition.

The stretch of Highway 72 remains closed for the cleanup and investigation. The names of those involved has not been released.
