Two Injured in Crash on North Beach

CORPUS CHRISTI - Two people were taken to the hospital after their Jeep Wrangler rolled into an embankment.

It happened early Sunday morning in the 3500 block of Seagull Boulevard on North Beach

Both the 34-year-old driver and his 34-year-old woman passenger were not wearing seat belts and both were ejected, police say. The man and woman were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.

Police found evidence that alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash. Charges for intoxicated assault are pending against the 34-year-old man.
