Two Home Fires Over the Weekend Treated as Arson

CORPUS CHRISTI - Investigators with the Corpus Christi Fire Department say two of the house fires over the weekend were intentionally set.

The fire at a home on McCain Drive around 5:30 Saturday morning. It only took fire crews 15 minutes to get it under control.

On Sunday morning, another home on Shane Drive was set ablaze. That's just a few houses down from the first fire.

The third fire at a home in the Corpus Christi Country Club Estates looks like it started with an electrical short circuit.

Fire investigators tell us it started in a loft near a television. Everyone inside the home on Lost Creek Drive got out safely. The family's dog died in the fire.
