CORPUS CHRISTI - Homicide detectives in Corpus Christi have arrested Johnny Juarez, 27, and Rosanna Torres Juarez, 25, for their alleged roles in the 2010 murder of a man found sitting on a couch with a gunshot wound to the head.

Back in March 2010, officers arrived at a home in the 1300 block of Devon to find Victor Luis Joseph, 29. He was shot after a child's birthday party at the home.

At the time, police said a fight between women at the party lead to one of them being thrown out. Later, two cars drive by and someone opened fire, endangering the lives of adults and children inside.

Three people were hit in the gunfire, including Joseph. He died about a month later following his release from the hospital.

Police say Johnny Juarez was arrested yesterday at a home on Greenwood Drive near Tarlton Street. He's charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and for an outstanding municipal court warrant.

Rosanna Juarez was arrested later in the day by U.S. Marshals on Scott Drive. She's charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
