Two Brush Fires Burning in Aransas Pass

Two Brush Fires in Aransas Pass - KZTV

ARANSAS PASS - Fire crews from Aransas Pass and Ingleside are keeping a close watch over a controlled burn off Highway 35 while dealing with an unexpected fire nearby.

Officials say the controlled burn is on property owned by County Commissioner Jim Price.

There's no word on what started the other fire in a field behind the Lowe's in Aransas Pass.

A large plume of smoke could be seen all the way across the bay in Corpus Christi before lunchtime.
