CORPUS CHRISTI - Tropical weather remains disorganized but still may have some influence on our weather.
The area of low pressure along the Yucatan is expected to move over the gulf water today where it is likely to strengthen. The system will drift to the Mexican coast by Monday. Gulf moisture is expected then to drift up the Texas coast improving our chance for rain only slightly.
Today we have enough instability to pop a few showers in our northern areas near Victoria and Goliad.
Otherwise, partly cloudy and not as hot. The high only 97. The heat index at 105 this afternoon.
