A drier atmosphere will produce fewer showers today but you cant rule out one or two this afternoon. Highs will move to the lower 90's because of the additional sunshine. The same patter will continue through Saturday. By Sunday however debris moisture from a tropical system in Mexico will increase our rain chances through Tuesday of next week. The disturbance in the southern gulf may become a tropical depression over the weekend but it's track will take it into Veracruz Mexico. The coastal bend may see an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain. Because of recent rainfall addition heavy showers in that time period may cause some flooding.
