CORPUS CHRISTI- Mostly cloudy tonight with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms overnight. Low: 77. Wind: E 5-10mph.
Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms Thursday. High: 90. Heat index near 100. Wind: E 10-15mph.
Numerous showers and a few heavy thunderstorms expected through Friday because of the front coming through Texas and moisture piles up ahead of an area of low pressure that will be in the Gulf of Mexico. It may become our next tropical depression or tropical storm with in 48 hours.
Friday night high school football games may be delayed or cancelled depending on where exactly the rain is at game time.
That front should be moving through the Coastal Bend early Saturday. Then Saturday late afternoon, the rain should be over and drier air moving in.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and feel much drier just in time for the first day of Fall. Dry and sunny on Monday. Inland lows dropping into the 60s starting Monday morning.
Just a few clouds Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
