CORPUS CHRISTI - The trial for one of the men charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a little girl last year is expected to start next week.
Jacob Musich, 19, is one of three men charged with kidnapping an 11-year-old girl on Braesvalley Drive last December.
A judge ruled this summer that Musich will be tried separately from the other two suspects because police say he admitted to raping the girl.
She told police a large SUV pulled up next to her as she was walking along the street with a young family member. Police say the girl was dragged inside and assaulted before being left on Padre Island.
The other two suspects, Eric Dimick and Colton Visor, will be tried together on aggravated kidnapping charges. No word on when their trial will start.
