CORPUS CHRISTI - A couple of brand new vehicles were totaled today when an 18-wheeler's trailer overturned on the ramp leading up to the Harbor Bridge.
The flatbed trailer tipped at the on ramps coming from downtown towards Portland. One of the cars being hauled came loose and blocked the road.
No one was injured.
Because the other car stayed in place, it took wreckers some time to get the trailer upright.
Police blocked one ramp and reduced another to one lane while crews worked on the 18-wheeler.
Traffic investigators still need to determine if the driver was taking the curve too fast or if there was a mechanical issue that caused the trailer to tip.
