ARIZONA - A group of tourists narrowly escape injuries when their hot air balloon has to make an emergency landing outside of Scottsdale, Arizona Tuesday.

Unexpected wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour forced the balloon's pilot to make a forced landing in a cotton field.

There were five people aboard the balloon at the time of the incident, including two couples from Canada.

On impact the balloon took quite a tumble, bouncing three times and being dragged by the wind about a quarter of a mile.

The pilot however, said he was able to navigate the balloon away from power lines and get the basket safely on the ground.

Everyone walked away from the incident without injury.
