ORANGE GROVE - The Orange Grove boy's basketball team is hoping to do something that hasn't been done in 35 years, they want to advance to the Class 3A Region Tournament. With a win against on Hondo on Tuesday night in Pleasanton the Dogs will accomplish that goal while etching their names into the school's history books.
"It feels great. You come out here and see the banners on the wall everyday during practice and you go to the games and you see all the people in the crowd, you just know that it's going to leave something here," said Rayce Gatlin.
Perhaps the most impressive part of this region run has been the fact that the Bulldogs have done it without a pair of stars, battling ongoing injuries all season long.
"We play hard we practice hard we give it everything we've got," said Joseph Williams.
Their motto is "Tough and Together" and it's something this team's believes in.
"Ever since we started we've set big goals and tried to go out there and get them," said John Alanis.
