CORPUS CHRISTI- Heavy rain ahead of our cold front has caused the front to speed up and will thus end our rainfall early on Saturday. This will also prevent Invest 95-L from forming in the Gulf and coming our way and finally it will bring some nice fall weather to the area mainly on Sunday before temperatures heat up in to the 90's Monday thru Friday of next week. Our lows will be comfortable and feel a little like fall as they dip into the upper 60's (lower west of the city) Sunday Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Tonight showers and thunderstorms some with locally heavy rain and temperatures falling into the low to mid 70's as the front pushes thru the area and shoves the high humidity east into the Gulf. Expect a low tonight of 74.
Saturday we will have showers in the morning ending from west to east then slow clearing and not near as hot with a high of only 85.
Saturday night will be mainly clear and a little cooler but also less humid with a low near 70.
Sunday will be nice as the first day of fall begins with considerable sunshine and rather warm but with low humidity (for a change) and a high of 89.
Enjoy the rain and then the less humid weekend weather.
