CORPUS CHRISTI - Most of the Coastal Bend woke up to showers and thunderstorms early Tuesday morning as much needed rainfall continued to push through the region.
Today, expect early morning storms to push out into the Gulf of Mexico and a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon with very warm temperatures in the mid-80s and winds out of the east-southeast around 10-20mph.
Tonight expect a healthy dose of clouds coverage over the area with warm and muggy conditions as temperatures only fall into the lower 70s to upper 60s.
Ahead of Thursday's front, temperatures will warm up substantially Wednesday afternoon as most locations will push the 90 degree mark. The front should push through around midday Thursday with a line of showers and thunderstorms accompanying the front and bringing unseasonably cooler air to the region Friday and Saturday morning and challenging record low levels in the upper 40s.
