Three Killed in Central Texas Helicopter Crash

BEEVILLE - Three people were killed after a helicopter crashed in central Texas Thursday evening. Authorities say the helicopter was traveling from Midland to Sequin when it made a stop in Fredericksburg to refuel. It then crashed after taking off.

Officials say the helicopter's emergency beacon was activated approximately 30 minutes after it left the city. However, they were not able to locate the crash site until this morning.

The names of the victims have not been released.
