CORPUS CHRISTI - Two prison gang members wanted on separate charges of assault were picked up Wednesday afternoon at a home on West Vanderbilt during a search by the Corpus Christi Police Department's Gang Unit.
Police say when they arrived at the home, 26-year-old Joshua James Brown and 32-year-old Christopher Reed were sitting at a dining room table with almost a pound of marijuana. A further search uncovered a half ounce of cocaine and 1.75 ounces of heroin.
Brown was wanted on an outstanding assault warrant and is now facing charges of drug possession. Reed is only facing charges of drug possession. A third man in the home, 27-year-old Jonathan Vasquez, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for continuous family violence. He's also facing charges of drug possession.
