ALICE - Three men were arrested in Jim Wells county for allegedly causing heavy damage to a home on County Road 170 in an attempt to steal copper wiring today.
Investigators provided photos of extensive damage to walls and ceiling areas that were ripped open. The suspects are also accused of stripping wiring from an electrical box and wiring from underneath the home.
22-year-old Juan Javier De La Rosa is charged with burglary and engaging in organized crime. He also in custody on warrants for violating a prior conviction for burglary, evading detention, resisting arrest, prohibited weapons, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and three counts of failure to appear in court.
18-year-old Frank Hernandez Jr. is charged with burglary and engaging in organized crime.
19-year-old Mark Anthony Perez is charged with burglary, engaging in organized crime and evading arrest.
