Thousands Show Up For Annual Turkey Giveaway

CORPUS CHRISTI - The Law Offices Of Thomas J. Henry gave out thousands of turkeys downtown today for their Annual Turkey Giveaway. In addition to turkeys there were also goats there for the kids along with clowns and a visit from Santa. With a total of 6,000 turkeys given to families in need, Thomas J. Henry said it's an experience he cherishes every year.

"All these folks are volunteering out here and helping," said Thomas J. Henry. "I see kids from Moody, there's people from my office, there's people who just show up and help hand out the turkeys. You can tell a lot of people are in real need of help."

Turkey recipient, Soila Ochoa said, "It's a blessing and it's good that Mr. Henry is doing this for the needy. The economy right now is not good so it helps out."

In addition to the giveaway in Corpus Christi, The Law Offices of Thomas J. Henry also distributed turkeys in Alice and Freer.
