IOWA - A woman was injured Saturday when she was struck by her own SUV as it was being driven off by a thief in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Surveillance video shows a man get out of a pickup parked at the gas pumps and get behind the wheel of her vehicle. Police say the owner left the engine running as she went inside the convenience store.
The woman noticed someone was driving off in the SUV, so she ran up to the side, only to be knocked to the ground. She was not seriously injured.
Both the truck and the SUV were last seen heading towards Omaha, Nebraska.
