CORPUS CHRISTI - We have continuing coverage on a teacher suspended from West Oso I.S.D. As we've reported, district officials and C.C.P.D are investigating to see if a male teacher at West Oso High School sent inappropriate text messages to a female student.

The teacher that's been suspended is 29 year old Christopher Williams. He's a business teacher at the high school, and the son of long time West Oso coach Roy Williams.

Superintendent Elizabeth Saenz has told us that the district and C.C.P.D have copies of the text messages that a female student says she received from Williams.

6 News has learned that Williams was arrested before. In 2005, he was arrested here in Corpus Christi for a warrant out of Travis County.

Court documents say that Williams was charged with harrassment for making inappropriate phone calls to a woman he went to school with at the University of Texas in Austin.

According to the documents, the woman claimed she received calls from an unknown number for several months, and stated the the calls "were sexual with moans and groans".

She goes on to say that "she received calls of a sexual nature referring to (expletive) and saying 'it's me baby'".

The documents say that after Austin police traced the number back to Williams, he "admitted, on tape, that he made the calls".

Williams pled guilty to a lesser charge and received two years deferred prosecution on the case.

6 News attempted to contact Williams at his father's house, but his father told us the last time he saw his son was at church.

We tried calling the only number we have for Williams, but no one answered.
