Texas Brush Fire Causing Evacuations

LIPSCOMB COUNTY, TEXAS - Firefighters in Northern Texas are battling high winds and a wildfire this morning.

The blaze, burning in Lipscomb County is estimated to be about 15 miles wide.

People near the town of Higgins, Texas have been evacuated as the fire spreads into Oklahoma.

Crews from both Texas and Oklahoma are battling the flames.

No word yet on how the fire started or whether any property or homes have been damaged.
