Tens of Thousands of Pot Plants Found

TEXAS - It may be the biggest marijuana bust in Texas history.

Cops found 44,000 pot plants and counting in a Polk County field.

The discovery actually happened back on Saturday when a hunter stumbled across vast fields of what he called suspicious plants.

This was in Goodrich, Texas off I-35.

The hunter called police and they've had their hands full ever since.

That includes this morning, as they're still continuing to search for more plants using helicopters and officers on foot, they've spotted 16 more fields that could also be pot.

They're uprooting the thousands of plants from 10 different fields.

Already there's one suspect in custody.
