CORPUS CHRISTI - People recycled at least 10 tons of glass in Corpus Christi today! The Solid Waste Operations And Clean Committee held this event on the Padre Island for most of the day. The city's regular recycling program does not pick up glass so this gives residents a chance to recycle their glass instead of throwing it in the trash. Those who stopped by say they recycle to keep our community clean.
Justin Knight said, "It's just a good thing to do you're not wasting and it's going back so if you just put it out and ends up in our seas it's just good to reuse it if you can."
