CORPUS CHRISTI- Expect our weekend to be unseasonably warm with record or near record high temperatures both Saturday and Sunday. A major cold front will move thru the coastal bend late Sunday night and is now on schedule to pass thru Corpus Christi between 2 and 4 am and clear the entire area before daybreak Monday. The cold front is easily the strongest of the season and will take temperatures from the upper 80's on Sunday to the upper 30's Monday night-a 50 degree drop and making it feel like the holiday season for a change. Scattered thundershowers will accompany the front but many areas south and west of the city will not participate in the "scattered" nature of the rainfall.
Today and Sunday expect variable sunshine humid and unseasonably warm with a high today of 86 and 87 tomorrow. It will be a bit breezier on Sunday.
Tonight expect low clouds late a gentle breezy and unseasonably mild with a low of 68.
**temperatures will tumble into the 40's Monday morning and only recover into the 50's on Monday and again Tuesday afternoon.
Enjoy your weekend.
