CORPUS CHRISTI- It felt like summer again today with temperatures once again reaching into the 90's. A big cold front will cause temperatures to fall over the weekend. Here are the details.
A somewhat unusual cold front will move into the area Saturday night bring the coolest weather of the season with a big temperature drop. The front is different in that it won't be producing hardly any rain but it will produce a lot of clouds due to "overrunning" resulting in high temperatures on Sunday more than 20 degrees below normal.
As the warm air returns behind the front we will see a few showers here the middle of next week.
Tonight expect mainly clear skies light southerly winds not as warm with a low of 68.
Saturday will be mostly sunny not much wind still hot and humid with a high of 92.
Expect a few sprinkles with frontal passage Saturday night and highs on Sunday afternoon staying in the 60's under cloudy skies.
Some rain returns along with warmer air next week.
