CORPUS CHRISTI - What a weekend! We had record breaking temperatures on Saturday, some nice rainfall on Sunday, and we ended the month with the warmest June ever recorded in Corpus Christi.
Today expect a healthy mix of clouds and sun with afternoon highs approaching the mid to upper 90s and relatively light winds from the ENE around 7-14mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and relatively seasonal for the time of year with temperatures falling into the mid to lower 70s.
For the most part, the big upper level high will remain entrenched in the desert southwest with a deep area of low pressure out to our east. As we remain wedged in between the two, temperatures should stay near seasonal (heat index values will still push triple digits) with tropical moisture increasing as we head to the end of the week and on into the weekend. Higher rain chances will stay near the Victoria Crossroads.
