CORPUS CHRISTI - Four teenagers are facing charges after they were found with stolen guns, ammo and body armor.
Corpus Christi Police Department detectives say all four were questioned after a traffic stop early Saturday morning. Their answers led police to homes on Royal Court and Snow Bird where they found the guns and other items stolen during auto burglaries early Friday morning.
The teen are accused of taking two AR-15 style rifles, 2 shotguns, pistols, night vision goggles and body armor. A Game Warden reported his equipment was taken out of his truck. Just down the street, another man reported his pistols were missing. A Corpus Christi police officer also reported a pistol missing from his personal vehicle.
Two of the teens, 19-year-old Michael Gonzalez and 18-year-old Jonathan Fernandez are charged with burglary of a vehicle and possession of a weapon. Additional charges are possible 19-year-old Fabian Lopez and a 15-year-old boy. All four are charged with possession of marijuana.
