Teen With Autism Found Safe In Early Morning House Fire

Fire investigators will continue their investigation as to what started an early morning house fire.

The fire started in the back room of a house on the 200 block of Anchor Street.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire fairly quickly, but their main concern was looking for a teenager.

The man who lives in the house with his family said they could not find his teenage son at the time of the fire. The 13-year-old boy suffers from autism, and he has been known to wonder off.

Police and fire officials searched for him throughout the morning. He was found in the neighborhood.

There is no cause of the fire at this time.
