Teen Agrees to Plea Deal in Killing of 88 Year Old Woman

CORPUS CHRISTI - We have some new information on two 15 year old boys facing capital murder charges for stabbing an 88 year old woman to death back in January. One of those teens has taken a plea deal. He'll get forty years in prison in exchange for testifying against the other boy.
The victim, Christine Naranjo, was found naked in her apartment and tied up by her hands and ankles.
Police got a call from a neighbor who said they heard screams coming from Naranjo's apartment. When the neighbor went to check it out, they found Naranjo naked and one of the suspects naked too.
Police later found two teenage boys walking down the 400 block of Tancahua. Police say they had some of Naranjo's possessions on them.
Naranjo's niece, Dolores Lopez, had this reaction upon learning about the plea agreement.
"I don't think they should be lenient on the people that did it," Lopez says.
Lopez says her aunt's death was senseless and that she just wants to see justice.
"I want them to, you know, pay for what they did. They've broke a lot of hearts," Lopez says.
The other teen in the case is set to go to trial in December.
